So I am sick and I had a fever....
I am a bit better but when I woke up yesterday I had an eBay message that my item had been shipped...

What item I thought?
It seems that I purchased a Philco Car radio part...

Anyone know anything about it? It is an AR-50. I am supposing I will have to find the ret of it now, Icon_lol

When having a fever, stay away from the computer altogether.
Next time you might buy an elephant or...Gosh forbid....no I do not even want to think of that. Icon_lol

You are the proud owner of a prewar 6v car radio!!!
If you get another fever maybe you can win the car to go with it!

Terry
Well, let's see if the vibrator- inverter works first.

Gonna be fun, Kirk!
Would be easier to put a 110v power transformer in it.

Terry
1. Has to find it.
2. has to fit.
3. It ain't gonna be car radio after that.
Icon_rolleyes

That is not all I bought!
I purchased 3 record players, a radio which is not a radio.. (it is a TV converter that was advertised as a radio), and a lamp clock!
ARGH!
I did remember putting in a few low offers on things but they all accepted now, Icon_lol

I'll let you do the power transformer Terry Icon_smile

This is what low fuel prices did to you! You have too much disposable income on your hands.
We need to institute a local gas tax - just in Kings Park.
Was just looking at the diagram and looks like it just as 5 presets no continuous tuning. Kinda unhandy.

Not sure I follow: what is cap #8 then?
Your right I missed it. It does tune continuously. Don't mine me I'm old senile.
