That may explain why I am wincing about this show being discussed right now, the episodes I saw all had John Provost in them, as "Timmy". Timmy is a name used for characters that are the butt of jokes now, probably because of Lassie or the Telethons. MeTV had some sort of showcase with Lassie and I was shocked to see that the episodes were all in colour without Timmy, those were from between 1966 and 69 I think. Lassie, who was a male collie during the whole run of the show and in every movie, seemed to be more independent in those colour episodes, more like the "Littlest Hobo".

Not Lassie related but virtually any old Gene Autry movie is good for a cathedral or tombstone! The Western channel has been playing fully restored movies of his early in the mornings.
