Is the Escutcheon for a philco 39-35 the same as the philco 40-180

Hi Jerm

Their outward appearance is the same...but they are, in reality, NOT the same.

The 39-25 escutcheon is made for use with the longer pushbuttons with retaining clips; the 40-180 escutcheon is not.

The shafts of the 1939 pushbutton assembly are shorter than their 1940 counterparts, also.
