41-280 Copper strip on escutcheon - Printable Version

41-280 Copper strip on escutcheon - Edisla - 07-05-2015

I have cleaned it down to a somewhat shiny copper but was it supposed to look like that?

Was it plated w/ something?

Were the letters painted? They seem like they may be painted in w/ brown.

I went ahead and painted the strip, filled in the lettering and clear coated.

I also made new plastic covers for the original call letters.
