Sparton Model 1867 Triolian - rdnzl - 06-07-2018

Here is another of my recent finds. Picked it up a couple months ago, had it totally serviced, and now it's like a new, old radio. It sounds amazing.

I love these old ads.

Wow, you certainly have a knack for finding very nice sets!! I have the model 1568 from the same year, similar to yours in a couple of ways. Has PP 2A3s with their own 5X4 rectifier on the lower (power) chassis.

I've been pretty lucky so far. I did buy a $20 dud RCA c11-3 with a pretty hideous cabinet.

I'm looking forward to hearing how my Philco 116X will sound compared to the Sparton.

Another pic.

Hey I really like that C11-3.

Let me know before you get rid of that, I'm interested. I'm right across town.
