How do you test a 0A3 Tube.. Its not listed for my Hickok 600A

The 0A3 is a cold cathode voltage regulating tube. It operates a bit like a neon bulb, and will glow when in operation. You can check if it is working by measuring the voltage between pins 2 and 5 while it is in operation. The voltage shouyld be about 75 volts.

It is same as Zener for solid state.
