RESTORATION MODEL 57C - ducretet - 01-06-2022

I have restored a 57C. The primary of the oscillator was cut off.

Who may be interested:

22 turns. 39 gauge.

I use a nail file to scrape the enamel off the magnet wire. I place the wire on the nail file and my finger on top of the wire then I drag the nail file across the wire very carefully without much pressure on the wire a few times. I have tried burning it off with a lighter and it breaks the wire.

One can do the same thing using a small, folded over piece of 400 grit sandpaper Again, you don't want to use much pressure.
