Philco 49-1100 Audio Transformer - AntiqueRadioSavior - 11-27-2012

Im restoring a 49-1100 console and the audio transformer has a blown primary winding. The audio transformer is 32-8242-3. What would be a great replacement for this transformer? The cabinet is pristine and would be a shame to use this radio for parts. Thanks for any help. Icon_smile

Pretty simple, you are looking for a transformer that has a 5000 ohm pri and sec to match the VC. Should be able to handle 3-5watts.

A Hammond 125BSE should work fine for you. Radio Daze & others sell them. Good luck.Icon_smile
