Model 16 Volume Control - Guest - 01-24-2007

In working on this 16 I've found the volume control to be beyond hope. It is intermittant and nothing I have tried improves it. It is a 2 Meg with a tap. Since there is nothing like this around today that I can find, the only solution would seem to be replacing the pot with a 2 Meg and feed the former tap with a resistor matching what the tapped value was. Is there any better way to solve this? Dick Bidwell

Mark Oppat of OLD RADIO PARTS can help you with a replacement.

See his link on my RESOURCE LINKS page - scroll down about 3-4 vendors.
