..... does anybody have any spares of these tubes? Click on link below great reading about this rare tube indeed!!:

I have read when ol Doc Brinkley got real "Po'ed" at the US FCC (which he did often), he could "crank" his Firebottles up to easily generate over 1- Mega-watts, and could be heard around the World with his 3- 300' tall towers & longwire transmitter antenna system!! These "1-off" firebottles were built to much-exceed WLWs (nation-station) by 2X!!! Brinkley had the same engineers that built WLW, "up the ante" on WLW!!! I also read true-accounts that there was so much "RF" in the air near that transmitter site, that at nighttime, the filaments in nearby auto headlamps would illimunate, and ranchers could hear AM Radio Superpower XERA, later licensed as "XERF" singing in their barbed-wire fences hundreds of miles away!!! Birds fell from the sky just thinking about landing on the antenna wires!! Ah, .... the good old days, just across the border from Del Rio, Texas just outside Cuidad Acuna Mex!! Now those late 1930's "techies" , had it goin on!!! I remember when " I heard it on the X" also back in the early 1960s!! Those WE 320-A tubes did last a long, long time!!! Randal
