Testing 01A tubes - 37silverstreak - 01-13-2014

Anybody know if you can test 01a tubes? There is no listing for them for my Precision series 612 tube tester.
I'm going way back on my next project, a 1925 Grebe Synchrophase MU-1, and would like to know what kind of shape the tubes are in. Should be an interesting project. I've never worked on a set this early before. Looks to be very well made and I've read that they are considered to be the best TRF sets ever designed.

Look for 201 or 301. I have a hickock and a knight that both test them. Try the B.A.M.A. site for obsolete tube manuals for your tester.
