Need chassis model 46-1209 or tuning cap part # 31-2719R - Guest - 02-27-2008

I have a set with a frozen tuning cap, and need a replacement.
This is for a Phiilco chassis 46-1209. I need either a whole
chassis with a freely moving tuning cap, or just a scavenged cap.
Can anyone help? If this is the wrong part of the forum to use,
then I'll be glad to repost in want ads or wherever.

That was already tried mechanically, and the part frozen was the actual
cap, not the reduction mechanism, which was badly damaged. I need a
new cap, or I'm going to have to rebuild the reduction. The pinion
gear (brass) has damaged teeth, and the driven gear and tensioner
now are missing a couple of teeth. I can easily reverse the pinion gear
and use the other end, likely, but the driven gear and tensioner
are likely goners.
