1939 Zenith metal covers for auto-tuning adjustment holes
I have a 1939 Zenith 5-S-319 with racetrack dial and need the little metal covers that cover the adjustment holes for the automatic tuning. Several 1939 Zeniths use these. Pushbuttons are available as reproductions, does anyone know of a source for the covers? Thanks for any help!

Grainger or McMaster-Carr carry round metal hole plugs in various sizes. I'm sure you can find a size that fits and spray paint them if need be.
Both companies are on-line: http://www.grainger.com http://www.mcmaster.com Chuck Chuck Schwark, The Philco Repair Bench ![]() http://www.philcorepairbench.com |
