Hi,
Thanks to everyone for their advice on my recent restoration of a 40-195. Next is a 39-116...that is mine, for the livingroom. The advice and ideas were greatly appreciated. This is a wonderful place to get info for Philco radios. The only place for me. Thank You to everyone and I hope to be able to help someone in the future.

Thanks for the "virtual-beer"! Replacing the old rubber-wiring in these type vintage sets can sometimes require a 12-pak indeed!! Congrats on your restoration, and good luck in the future!
