I hope Ron is just working on the Phorums and the new look is temporary. I have never seen a phorum that has the member info on the right before. I also find it hard to tell which sections have new or updated posts as the icons are not very intuitive.

All that having been said, I'm not sure I like having the member info on the right, either. I think perhaps I agree with your analysis of the new/updated post icons. Now that this Phorum is running on phpBB 3.x, with many thanks to the great guys at WestHost (and no thanks to the unhelpful rat bum at the phpBB forum), I will examine things carefully over the next several days, as time allows, and I'm sure I will be making several changes to the look of this Phorum.

It looks like some of the recent topics may have been dropped in the transition which is no biggie but something I wanted to point out.

Is the forum now available only to members to view? Just curious as I have seen references to topics here made by others on NA and ARF.

EDIT: Just read in the announcements about the loss of postings - should have read that first Icon_redface

Having been involved with an evening college course, I missed the forum being down. I missed out on the whole Labor day holiday weekend because the final exam was after Labor Day and haven't had much time to hang out on radio sites this past week.

I had no problems logging in to the upgraded forum. I'll get used to anything. However you want it to look, Ron is fine by me. It looks great here.

Ahh, now ist vorking, ja? Interesting. I have no issue with the icons being on the right. Has a fresh new look, and being logged in each visit is a feature the "other" site has that I've missed here.
