Sears 6130: Reception problem
#1

Hey all. Re-capped , re-resistored, aligned to the best of my ability(maybe that's the problem). Now it seems that it passes signals from the signal generator, but only picks up one strong station about a mile away at 1600kc. All tube voltages are normal. Did a check on the oscillator and it looks as if it cuts out at about 1400kc. Grid goes positive to about 5.5 volts at lower end of the dial. Thought it might be the cathode resistor
on the oscillator, but subbing for that didn't help. Any suggestions are gratefully welcome. Thanks, Ed
