SOS for ID; wanting to rebuild
#1

Dear Phorum

re the attached photo's: I was wondering if anyone might be able to provide some information on the unknown brand/ model number highboy consul radio.  I'm presuming it is a Philco; I really would like to identify it.

It appears to be 1920's.  It unfortunately has the chasis electronics workings ripped out including any identifing stickers, and has been used as a cupboard.  The front doors slide apart but not out or in, and the entire lid tilts right up (I don't know why).

I thought it might be for a radio-phonograph, but not likely.

I wanted to see if it would be possible to find the original radio innards/or replicate and restore it again.

Kind regards - Richard

Some day, and that day may never come, I will call upon you to do a service for me. But until that day, accept this justice as a gift
