Philco model 610

Yes. It can.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.

The reason that I tore the speaker down is because of the posts that Morzh did. I am pretty sure that my problem is here anyway. I forgot to get those resistances before I did that though. While I have it tore down I will reinstall yellow wires to the speaker to minimize confusion. I am pretty sure of my wiring though. I think I have a short inside the field coil and hope I get lucky it is on top. The resistance keeps changing each time I handle it. Just so you know the resistance went to 6.39k when I disconnected one lead so it went up as Morzh said. Thanks for your help for a newbie.
