This is the one we saw last November?
It is the plain front (no grillwork) console 20.
I wouln't pay more than $80-100 for it provided the speaker is good (speaker alone sells for $80+ and 71A tubes are also expensive).
This said, ideal price for this is about $40-60.

As a radio any 20 is a very mediocre sounding radio, and it is a TRF set with plate detector.

I restored one like this with the fancy grillwork. Was my very first set.

20 console in that condition complete with tubes..
I would pay about $0.00 Icon_lol
If you like it you can go maybe 50.00?.. Terry has one he might part with..
Mike may know a better price range..

That's the 20 Lowboy, exactly the same as mine. I paid $20 at a demolition sale and was happy with that price. Easy to work on.

So I was right, it was the one at Joe's shed we saw last November.

I would not go above $40 on that one.

I already had one, plus it was the one with the grillwork so I passed on this one, though I kinda remember that wasn't gonna be that much asked for it.
This one's a plain Jane, a small radio at that, won't sound that well unless the speaker is reconed, and even then it won't be much to write home about.
This is why.

Restored a 1936 12 selection Mills jukebox about a year and a half ago. That was my first, and was extremely satisfying to get all of the mechanisms, switches, etc... to function as designed. That unit had bright, clean, un-distorted LOUD sound. Did it for my old boss, and had to go into work several hours early every day for weeks, and bring home components to work on till the wee hours- (as no one was there on weekends or after hours) digging out and re-stuffing cans and caps...even made new dog bones & painted them the correct colors. Disassembled and repaired the coin drop mechanism, resistor box, control box, and installed new locks on the backboard, front playlist section and the "brain box". Over 400 hours of extra work, but was happy to do it!!!  Icon_biggrin

Was working on the 20 and noticed it has a Pilot lamp installed.. Is that Factory? Or did someone just wire in one..

Didn't see one on the schematic..
