Re: Social Networking Websites
Ron,
The Phorum is the only site I need. My wife is on Facebook and has been able to make contact with several of her relatives in England, but I've no time or interest to go that route. Enjoy the weekend! Joe Joe Otter Lake |

Re: Social Networking Websites
This form is the closest thing to a social networking site that I participate in, and quite frankly, that's all I need.
As we're finding out, many of these sites can be...I'm searching for the right word here..."problematic". I've know of a few instances where someone made a posting that they thought was within their "circle of friends", when in fact it's right there for literally the world to read, and the repercussions of such a posting were detrimental in one form or another - a broken relationship, getting fired from a job, or something else. And here's something else to consider...what you post is probably going to live a lot longer than you will. So be careful out there! Bill Sent from my Pentium II on the AT&T Dial Network |

Re: Social Networking Websites
I've had a myspace for years but not with my real name. Then I needed to sign up for facebook because of one class I took at school. However, I have deleted my facebook account because they have too many issues with privacy. I started getting spam to my college email that could have only come from facebook.
