Hello gang,

I haven't been by in a couple months. I had gotten a "Trojan Horse Was Found" warning while visiting the site. My brother, who's much more compooter savvy than I, (but who is also an occasional pain in the neck, just kidding, he's ok), got the horse removed. When I revisited, darned if the same thing didn't happen again immediately, so I shied away. But now all appears to be kosher, thank goodness. You can't imagine how I was jonesing without my daily "fix".

Anyhow, I think the last post I made was about finding a 1948 table model Philco Transitone for $2. Well, I hope everyone's had an enjoyable summer. Ron, I'm very sorry to learn you were laid off from your job. Hope it's only briefly temporary. I guess everything is ok here now. The warning would've shown up by now. I hope this particular horse has been put out to pasture. I hope everyone is well and in good spirits, and it's a joy to be back, that is, if you'll have me. Thanks.

Thanks friend! Great to be back. I blame my own computer ignorance. Was afraid that if i came back I'd get another horse warning. But this forum is too precious a resource to allow to languish unused. And the guys here are all 1st. class good people.

Hope you've been doing well also. I went to the MARC swapmeet in July. After seeing all the radios and stuff I've decided that, aside from the classifieds on a site such as this, a swapmeet is about the best place to look for radios. You can see what the radio is and it's condition before you buy and if you've got room to haul it back home there's no shipping to sweat out. Great place.

I've finally got a workspace cleared in the basement. Thanks for the welcome back. It's great to be back.
