Again, to everyone...thank you.

Getting stronger every day and feeling more and more like normal as I go. I go back to the surgeon this Thursday for a follow-up, but I do not anticipate any problems since no additional cancer cells were found in the removed tissue.

I started trying to play college catch-up a few days ago. The fall semester started on Monday, August 23; I was not ready. I am now.

And I had my first beer since the surgery this past Thursday. I stopped taking painkillers one week ago today; I could not have any "cold ones" while that stuff was in my system.
