Re: Change of subject.
Ha ha, my ex-mother in law is in Alabama. I'd have to travel some to do her in, quick-fried to a golden perdition. Yes, since I really loved the Batman TV show I consider any other Batmobile, before or since the one on the 1966 TV show to be a poorly-showing would-be imposter. I have a metal cast Batmobile that's about 12" long and is very faithful to the one on the tv show. Now that is cool, if I can't have a full size one, yet, this one will make do 'til then! Icon_clap

Re: Change of subject.
If memory serves, the 1966 Batmobile was the first true on-screen Batmobile seen. I know they customized a car to make it, but before that the Batman serials were so low budget that there was never a true Batmobile in them. Even the Batman comics of the time adopted the look of the Batmobile from the series. Man, I wish they would release the series on DVD now. I've got the movie on DVD.

No matter where you go, there you are.

I still cant figure out how a jet engined car would make the tires squeal.

I DO know why Batman was always in a hurry.....

He had to go to the "bat room." heh heh heh heh heh

Re: Change of subject.
The Batmobile on TV was a 1955 Lincoln Futura concept car entirely hand-built, I'm lead to understand. It is indeed a cool set of wheels!

I wonder why Batman never applied his utility belt technology to solving the problem of being able to take a dump while driving. I mean they had what they called a "relief tube", beginning in WW II fighters so the pilot could take a leak on long combat missions.
