118H Cabinet, What Other Models?
I have a 118H that needs a piece or two to fix the cabinet legs from accumulated damage.

What other Philco models used the same cabinet?

Thanks,

Mike

Look in this site's Gallery.

http://www.philcoradio.com/gallery/1935a.htm

The 118H cabinet was shared by the 1935 (June 1934) 18H, 49H and 144H. Of the few sets using this cabinet I have seen, though, they have both (yep, I've only seen two) been 118H sets. Although, a friend of mine found a 144H in an antique mall, called me to see if I wanted it, I passed. A 144 has a larger escutcheon so you couldn't use a 118 chassis in a 144 cabinet without doing some modifications to the wood.

Re: 118H Cabinet, What Other Models?
Thanks Ron, Great sight BTW.

The 144H looked to have three SW bands rather than one like the 118H.
My 118H was my first SW DX radio when I was in my early teens.

Holds a sentimental spot and it's now time to get it back up and running.

Get this, my wife actually likes me to use my old radios, cabinets willing, as focal points to decorate parts of the house.

Thanks,

Mike

Still interested if anyone has one to offer, especially for parts.

Thanks,
