Question for Ron

So why isn't there a link to buy an autographed copy of your book? I'd go an extra $5 for a copy autographed by Mr. Philco, and I would bet I'm not the only one.

Don't laugh, we have had pilots who have already purchased the King Air book by Tom Clemens ( at $50) buy a 2nd copy when they found out we could get them signed.

And if you said you would use the extra $5 to save unwanted Philcos You could save thousands...maybe millions.

Well, it's like this:

1. I do not maintain a stock of books. H**l, the publisher never sent me a personal copy of the book when they did their "revision" that isn't a revision.
2. I don't really have time to sell books.
3. I do not have a good relationship with the publisher. The story has been told before, by me and others, and I really would rather not rehash it at this point.

Shall I go on? No, that's enough for now.

Although I must admit I really like your idea of using the extra $5 per book to save unwanted Philcos.

That would be great! Just as long as you furnish return postage, that is. Otherwise it would really hurt the ol' budget.

I have an old (blue) copy that I had to put clear packing tape on both covers to reinforce from MUCH usage, and a new copy that I am trying to take better care of.

I like this idea a LOT, and I am going to get both of mine autographed.
