Kutztown B&B's
Me and Wifey are planning on going to Kutztown in May and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on bed and breakfasts around there. I've never been to PA before and this is also going to be our first anniversiary trip.

And no the radio swap meet isn't the only thing we have planned for our first... Icon_lol
We are going to try to make it to Hersey, and Gettysburg and I really would like to see the liberty bell. We have about 7 days to sight see before attending my wifes cousin's wedding in Chambersburg. Any sight seeing suggestions are welcome.

Re: Kutztown B&B's
This is the only one in Kutztown that I know of. There are a couple others within several miles.

Longswamp, PA.

Glasbern is near Fogelsville PA. It's upscale and pricey.

If you're into airplanes, there's a nice air museum in Reading PA. I was a member for several years and used to participate in their annual WWII Weekend in early June.

Gettysburg is a great place to spend time. Been there more times than I can count. Hershey, unless you're into amusement parks, not so much.

If you're into antiques schnuffling, Adamstown is a good place. I used to set up there on weekends in the 1970's. I get back at least once or twice a year.

The National Civil War Museum is in Harrisburg PA.

You'll also be pretty close to Yuengling, America's Oldest Brewery:

Steve Johnson got there a day early once and went on the tour and he enjoyed it. They have caves or tunnels used for storage before refrigeration.

Why blow your budget on a B&B? There's free on-site camping at the Kutztown meet. Always a bunch of locals and long distance travelers in tents, trailers and RV's. Excellent stargazing out in the meadow too.
