Phorum How-To #3: Can I Change My Username?

Yes, you can, and you don't have to ask me to do it for you!

To begin, let's go to your User Control Panel. Remember how to do that? Just click the User CP link to the right of your username at the top left of just about any page in the Phorum, as shown in the screenshot below.



Click the User CP link, and you will be taken to a page that looks like the one below:



Notice that there are several clickable links in the Menu column at left.

Click the Change Username link under Your Profile.

This takes you to another page:



Enter your current password in the "Current Password" box.

Now enter the new username you wish to use in the "New Username" box.

Click the "Update Username" button.

That's it! Your new username is now in effect.

Went to the CP. Password, email, etc. are there but not the change user name.
