Schematics-Philco Repair Bench
Been wanting to post this for a few weeks. I'm still catching up from that _____ (thing that stops rivers and turns them into lakes) pneumonia double whammy I brought on myself.
Guys, if you need clear, LARGE, easy to read schematics and a BUNDLE of other good info for your Philco sets, give Chuck's service a try on the Philco Repair Bench site. I recently got schematics for a model 17LZ and a model 14 LZX from this service, and they are far and away better than anything that you can pull up online. In both cases the schematics clarified issues I was having trying to decipher the online examples. AND both were for the specific model and code that I was working on, which included specific details not found online. Additionally, you will recieve information ranging from alignment to dial cord stringing to any and ALL changes pertinent to your set. Give it a shot. You won't be disappointed!!!! |

Crystal clear copy of what I needed to try to get my 40-190 on the road. Mind you, I still made copies of copies so I could mark it up as to where I was when I stopped... |
