Unfortunately, just when I thought I had worked all of the bugs out of the new Phorum, I discovered another one...

MyBB comes with an anti-spam filter called Akismet. I have discovered that it tries too hard to find spam when none is there, and will automatically ban users that should not be banned.

Checking the administrator logs, I have not found anyone else who has been banned by Akismet, but after being banned twice myself from my own Phorum (fortunately, ve haf vays of getting back in, ja? ), I have disabled Akismet.

If you experience any sort of difficulty with the Phorum - no matter how big or small - rather than going away angry, please contact me first and let's see if we can straighten out the problem, OK?
