I still don't understand why, SMS in Oregon seemed interested enough in taking up the task, but then again someone was going to refer Radio Daze to them so who knows whether that happened. Maybe we need to start a mailorder supply company specifically for reproduction Philco parts like they have in Europe for reproduction Phillips parts?

RE: Grill Cloth
I wonder if it would be worth it to see what kind of price a fabric company would want to make a requisite amount of, say, the V chevron cloth, and then split the cost and the produced cloth between interested collectors?

RE: Grill Cloth
If we could get enough people interested so the cost per person would not be prohibitive, I'd be willing to participate.

RE: Grill Cloth
The question is which Chevron style Philco grille cloth pattern would it make sense to reproduce first?

RE: Grill Cloth
i would be willing to participate. I have went to a local material shop and asked what would it cost. If we had a library of the patterns i would be willing to try and find a manufacture to research cost.

RE: Grill Cloth
There are lots of people that keep repeating that we have plenty of places to get the grill cloth needed. They send me links for defunked sites and to no where. I need the the right cloth for the right radio at the right time.
