Luck in the North Country
Been vacationing in northern NY. Leaving for the land of unbearable heat and unendurable humidity (NC) tomorrow.
Found: AR 812, unbelievable condition, has all six good 199 tubes. Silvertone 36P (?) cathedral. It's the one with the four knobs and the ornate faux finish. Six tubes, PP 45s. Philco 60 Cathedral Philco 42-321 table set AK-30 with all six globe 201 and 301 tubes. |

RE: Luck in the North Country
So long as you have enough coin for AC you will be OK.

RE: Luck in the North Country
Don't like how AC adds to the heat build-up under the hood, so it's an open window drive.....

RE: Luck in the North Country
Was just up in Alex bay / Clayton area last week. Surprising lack of shops up there. Just as well for me. Traveling by motorcycle. Tow a trailer with it but not into pushing my luck that far..
Oh I DID find a Donnie & Marie transistor radio! |

RE: Luck in the North Country
Some of the family was from Alex Bay/Clayton.
I checked the local craigslist and newspapers to find mine. |
