Help for a Newbie
#1

We have had this old Philco TV, phonograph, and radio sitting around in a house we inherited for over 20 years.

Can someone help me identify if?

Hi and Welcome to the Phorum!
Nice looking set you have there. Since it has a round crt that dates it pre 1951. If you look on the back of the set you should be able to find the model #. It will start with the last two digits of the year of manufacture. Like 49-XXXX. The X's will be numbers too. Once you find that out we can see about a manual for it

Welcome to the Phorum! Others are more familiar with TVs and can help but a word of caution, don't plug it in to see if it still works. It will need some electronic restoration to avoid potential damage to it.

Sweet! It's a 50T-1477 from 1950 and those are fairly rare. The first time I saw one I thought it was a modified combo because of the unique design.

There's a little more info here: http://tvontheporch.com/photo2_12.html

There was one on ebay recently that received no biids Icon_sad I would have grabbed it but it was just too far away.

So what you are looking for is a Sam's Photofact 128-11.
