Inside, how\u00adev\u00ader, most of the new Philcos received built-in loop anten\u00adnas, elim\u00adi\u00adnat\u00ading the need for exter\u00adnal long\u00adwire aeri\u00adals (except in cas\u00ades where the set was sit\u00adu\u00adat\u00aded far from any local broad\u00adcast stations).<\/p>\n<p>Philco's two high-end sets were now referred to by a more prop\u00ader name - Wire\u00adless Remote Con\u00adtrol. Obvi\u00adous\u00adly there was no longer any \"Mys\u00adtery\" about how these sets worked!<\/p>\n<p>The Philco Trop\u00adic line of export sets was expand\u00aded for 1940 and now includ\u00aded a num\u00adber of table mod\u00adel, con\u00adsole and radio-phono\u00adgraph&nbsp;sets.<\/p>\n<p>Philco's line of low-priced Tran\u00adsi\u00adtone mod\u00adels was expand\u00aded for 1940. A fur\u00adther expan\u00adsion of Tran\u00adsi\u00adtone mod\u00adels would occur only two months lat\u00ader (see the August 1940&nbsp;page).<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Model_Index\"><\/span>Model Index<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The fol\u00adlow\u00ading mod\u00adels con\u00adtin\u00adued in the Philco line\u00adup: 39-711T (as 40-715T), <span class=\"caps\">RP-1<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">RP-2<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">RP-3<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">RP-4<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TH-4<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TP-4-I<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TH-5<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TP-5-I<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TP-10<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TP-11<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TP-12<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TH-14<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TH-15<\/span>.
