1940 (June 1939) mod\u00adels con\u00adtin\u00adued in the Philco line\u00adup, except for the fol\u00adlow\u00ading which were dis\u00adcon\u00adtin\u00adued: <span class=\"caps\">A52CK<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">A52CK1<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TH-4<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TP-4<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TP-4-I<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TH-5<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TP-5<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TP-5-I<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TH-9<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TP-10<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TP-11<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TP-12<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TH-14<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TH-15<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TH-16<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TH-17<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TH-18<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TP-20<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TP-21<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TH-22<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">UA-52P<\/span> (<span class=\"caps\">TP-52<\/span>).<\/p>\n<p>Two months into the new 1940 sea\u00adson, Philco added a portable, a chair\u00adside set and a con\u00adsole radio-phono\u00adgraph to its reg\u00adu\u00adlar line\u00adup. But they also com\u00adplete\u00adly revamped their low\u00ader-priced Tran\u00adsi\u00adtone mod\u00adels by elim\u00adi\u00adnat\u00ading every June 1939 Tran\u00adsi\u00adtone and intro\u00adduc\u00ading 21 new mod\u00adels, which now car\u00adried the <span class=\"caps\">PHILCO<\/span> trade\u00admark as well as the <span class=\"caps\">TRANSITONE<\/span> name. Many of the new Tran\u00adsi\u00adtones were sim\u00adply old\u00ader mod\u00adels with new dial scales and the new Philco-Tran\u00adsi\u00adtone des\u00adig\u00adna\u00adtions, but sev\u00ader\u00adal new mod\u00adels were also added to the line at this&nbsp;time.<\/p>\n<p>All of the new Tran\u00adsi\u00adtones (except the portable <span class=\"caps\">PT-63<\/span>) used the same basic five-tube, <span class=\"caps\">AC<\/span>.<span class=\"caps\">DC<\/span> chas\u00adsis; there were vari\u00ada\u00adtions in fre\u00adquen\u00adcy cov\u00ader\u00adage through the var\u00adi\u00adous models.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Model_Index\"><\/span>Model Index<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The fol\u00adlow\u00ading mod\u00adels con\u00adtin\u00adued in the Philco line\u00adup: 39-711T (as 40-715T), <span class=\"caps\">RP-1<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">RP-2<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">RP-3<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">RP-4<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TH-4<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TP-4-I<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TH-5<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TP-5-I<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TP-10<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TP-11<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TP-12<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TH-14<\/span>, <span class=\"caps\">TH-15<\/span>.
