With\u00adin a few months, Philco's pro\u00adduc\u00adtion lines would con\u00advert com\u00adplete\u00adly to war work for the U.S. Government.<\/p>\n<p>But this did not stop Philco from adding nine new mod\u00adels to its 1942 line\u00adup. Two of the new mod\u00adels were recy\u00adcled car radios, con\u00advert\u00aded to <span class=\"caps\">AC<\/span>, installed in wood\u00aden cab\u00adi\u00adnets and shipped out the door to get rid of oth\u00ader\u00adwise unus\u00adable car radio inven\u00adto\u00adry (auto\u00admo\u00adbile man\u00adu\u00adfac\u00adtur\u00aders were also con\u00advert\u00ading to war work, leav\u00ading new car radios with no new cars to be installed into).<\/p>\n<p>It would be four years before Philco pro\u00adduced any more new radios for civil\u00adian&nbsp;use.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Model_Index\"><\/span>Model Index<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>All June 1941 mod\u00adels con\u00adtin\u00adued in the Philco line\u00adup; none were dis\u00adcon\u00adtin\u00adued until 100% con\u00adver\u00adsion to war work for the dura\u00adtion (approx.
