Philco's radio line shrank to 24 mod\u00adels for 1950. The com\u00adpa\u00adny con\u00adtin\u00adued to offer a vari\u00adety of table mod\u00adel radios, porta\u00adbles, and radio-phono\u00adgraph models.<\/p>\n

Bat\u00adtery-oper\u00adat\u00aded \"farm\" sets were not offered by Philco in the 1950 season.<\/p>\n

The com\u00adpa\u00adny intro\u00adduced its first mod\u00adern clock radio, the 50-527, which could be set to turn the radio on auto\u00admat\u00adi\u00adcal\u00adly (\"wake to music\").<\/p>\n
