Philco for 1957<\/h2>\n

<\/span>Overview<\/span><\/h3>\n

For 1957, the low-end \"Philco Tran\u00adsi\u00adtone\" line had dis\u00adap\u00adpeared from the Philco radio line\u00adup. Philco also offered far few\u00ader clock radios in the 1957 sea\u00adson, but added an AM-FM<\/span> mod\u00adel to the line (E976<\/span>).<\/p>\n

After an absence of one year, the high fideli\u00adty Phono\u00adra\u00adma returned to the Philco line as the Phono\u00adra\u00adma III<\/span>. The new Phono\u00adra\u00adma did not include a radio, how\u00adev\u00ader - it was only a phono\u00adgraph. How\u00adev\u00ader, a tuner or tape deck could be con\u00adnect\u00aded to the Phonorama.<\/p>\n

The big news from Philco this sea\u00adson was the intro\u00adduc\u00adtion of their first all-tran\u00adsis\u00adtor radio - the T-7.<\/p>\n
