Back to ruining Rons radio cabinet
Me
...careful...Sam's watching you...
Check your house for bugs. The wires will lead to Sam's house. Sam's old school, he ain't using no stinking Wi-Fi
PUT the cabinet DOWN

him
Sam's cabinet is done already... Or is it Kirks?.... 9/10ths of the law and all that
Haha! Just kidding
You cabinet will be a 4 hour restore so no worries...
Terry decided to lose a foot on his,
Busy me
RON!
I did some final gluing on this and started veneering.
Before I adhere it I would like to know if you like the grain.
Pictured below..
Grain is fine...I may have to bleach that top panel though...I was just looking at my 41-788 for comparison and the top panel on it is lighter than that.
Yes, picky, I know.
That left top panel (front to back grain, 2nd photo) looks great
There is no veneer on the right side yet. They will match so no worries...

The day has come!
Last of the repairs!
Tomorrow is veneering day 8)

Hooray!
I'm looking forward to bringing this one home and reuniting it with its restored chassis...
Ron
Silly you
Your not going to have room for that I your truck
Ron's truck? It will have space for everything plus you fit in it.
It can be seen from space.
Hmm wounded if he has roof racks
Well we know it's not Terry's falcon
Talk about low rider. He even has sparks coming out
Sam
With the lack of clamps due to other radios needing them, I could only safely veneer the sides with their book matched veneer. That is thanks to Steve!
She is ready for the front veneer and then I will fix a few chips on the right side back that I had forgot about.
Last is the off color veneer patches from last summer.. I have no idea why they are darker but I have my wood bleach and will lighten those suckers up....
