good find!!
My pal Jim Sargeant, VRPS, was the auctioneer, I was going to attend the auction online but got hung up.

Good work Fred.

Thanks, Jim Sargent is good friend of mine also, ive refinished a number of things for him from coke cola machine to visible gas pump and antique radio cabinets. He and wife are good people. The auction went well although we were under severe thunder storm watch. Lots of philco radios were auction off, there where great buys ,prices were lower than expected.
Very nice phinds! I'm looking phorward to seeing these two 16B's getting phixed while I phix my own.
I like restoring two similar radios at the same time. It helps uncover inconsistencies and helps prevent mistakes. You always have one to refer to when working on the other.
Heres a 16b that I restored a while back, have done several. The two that I got this weekend is an early and late version.
That 16B is absolutely awesome. How much is a restored 16B worth?
