Заглянув в схему увидел что в приемнике предусмотрено переключение типа антенного входа с несимметричного в симметричный . Наш коллега Майкл подсказал мне , что такой Филко комплектовался даже специальной антенной "high efficiency aerial" , а вся система называлась " Форин тьюнинг систем". Очень хочется узнать больше об этой системе и других достопримечательностях Филко модели 37-116 .

I am the happy owner of Philco 37-116. Listening to the Radio Broadcasting on the HF bands and drew attention to its clear reception and a large dynamic range. When listening to stations on BC and SW bands I noticed the reception to be very clear and the dynamic range large.
Upon looking at the schematic I saw that the radio has two antenna input options: balanced and unbalanced. Mike told me that Philco even had a special antenna developed, the High Efficiency Aerial, and the input option was called "Foreign Tuning System".
