Yep, pretty much. 455kc did not go through at all, so i started looking what would. If only to confirm that something at all goes through.
As I eventually found out, that was a dumb luck it did at all as the IF was going through parasitic capacitances, not due to the proper amplification and mixing which were not working due to the pentagrid's heater being powered...not.
