The PHILCO Phorum

Hi,

    I have a question. Does the model 44 have the
    same type of dual tuning as the models 116 and
    144? Will the model 44 come apart the same way
    as the 116 and 144?
    The one I have needs to be taken apart and cleaned.

Model 44 has the same tuning assembly as the early versions of Model 16 (%-band) with a single tuning knob that pulls out and pushes in to change the tuning speed.
