Hello Forum.  I need help with this Bezel removal.  i am just starting on this radio project and I want to get the cabinet ready for refinishing.  Then on to the chassis later next month.

Anyone know if it is glued on the cabinet or fastened some way?

This is a family heirloom radio from a friend  and it is in very good original condition.

Thanks.

I think the outer ring rotates CCW a couple of degrees and then pops off? Behind it is a locking ring that screws to the cabinet?
+1 gently pressing it inward.
John & Terry-

Thanks for the tips, that did it.  Just the CCW  twist and the outer plate came off.
Then removed the 4 screws and it's done.

Thanks again.

ALWAYS be careful as the glass is not secured by anything...
It falls right out... I broke one last month Icon_sad
Yes,

i have the glass safely stored away until the time comes to put everything back in the cabinet.
