BUT!, . . . it's gotta go.    I'll bear your suggestion in mind if I get the citrus stripper.

I removed the dial cover yesterday, ...probably the grill cloth card later today.  I need to wait a little bit on ordering parts for the chassis, . . . until I see how much I can recover from Butch putting my finances in a tailspin.  Then I'll get the new caps and resistors.  I may even make a vague attempt at replacing the push buttons with something.
