I am replacing the candohm in the picture attached (#61).

In the Philco Phorum I read that the 202 is ohm 20W, 8 ohm is 2 W and the 35 ohm is 5W.  I am considering using Vitrious Enamel Power resistors but the values are not exact unless I stack resistors.  Stacking is not an option with these because they are each 1.75 inches long and space is limited.  What I would like to do is use a 200 ohm 25 W, 10 ohm 5 W and 33 ohm 12 W.  The question is, how exact should be the replacements?

Thank you.
I'm coming up with a bit less wattage than you. The 200 ohm section actual dissipation is a little more that 1.6w. So a 7.5 or 10w unit would be a good choice. The other 2 are under 1/2 w so 2w would be fine. Figured based on 90ma current flow thru the hv winding. Could be less.
Terry:

I obviously have a lot to learn and appreciate the help.  Your reply makes a huge difference in how I intended to tackle the rebuild.

Thank you for taking the time to respond.  Stay well!
Mouser. I like the black (color) wire wound units from Vishay.

Your 200 ohm WW for about $2:

Thanks Russ I will check them out.

Hello GRG,
I am with Russ those are good resistors and far as the value with in few ohms is not a big deal Because the voltages nowadays are higher and your filter capacitors too .
Sincerely Rich
Thought I'd post a picture of the replacement I made for the 3 section candohm.  Found enough parts in my existing supplies to make it work.  The 5W 20 is two resistors in parallel to get to the 10 ohms needed. The Radio is now working well.
Looks great Glenn.
