I'm also a proud owner of a Philco 51-1732 radio-phonograph console. still sounds great with the original capacitors.
not bad for 60 years old.
It may not sound great for long with original capacitors. One day, something inside is going to go pop, smoke will come out, and you will say, bye-bye power transformer because one of those original electrolytics has shorted out and taken the power transformer with it.

Running an old radio with original capacitors is a gamble. Sooner or later, you (and the radio) are going to lose.
