I pulled my 2nd AF transformer from my 87 and found the part #3242. No luck finding it so far, but I found a 4232. From what I see the only difference is mine drives the 45 tubes by a 26 tube and the other one drives them by a 27 tube. It seems the 4232 was used in more models. I cannot find any other radio that uses the one I pulled from mine. They are both 1:4 ratio. Can it be used as a replacement?
Looking at my Philco early 30s parts catalogues, they are both 1:4 turns ratio and are used with the same "in" and "out" tube complements (27 driver to p-p 45, 47, 42 or 71-A), so I'd say it should work fine. Both even have the same mounting hole "footprint." Icon_biggrin
