I bought a beat-up model 70 on ebay. I restored the cabinet so it's looks great (My wife let it in our living room). I started the electrical work by replacing the electrolytic caps and pulling the 80 tube. I powered it up checked some voltages and everything looked good. Then I plugged the 80 back in and powered the radio back up Big mistake Icon_sad
The radio flashed with fire and blew smoke into the room Icon_eek The wire wound resistor burnt itself up. So I'm going to do a full restoration. I'll replace all the caps and all the resistors. What I need to know what the wattage is on the BC resistor.
