I've got a little 48-200, missing the antenna , all it was is coil of wire glued to the case, plastic. I have not had much luck in finding one ,so I'll try to make on, need to know guage and how many turns ,can any one help?
What you may want to try is replacing it with a back cover from another set any brand with a loop antenna wound on it. Or a ferrite loop stick. Isn't very critical I would think that 40 turns or so of 28 to 35Ga wire. A secondary could be wound to be used to connect an outside aerial. About 10-15 percent of the primary, 4-6 turns. This will make it possible to connect the antenna with out being concerned about grounding and shock hazard if this set is a transformerless job.
