Hi Guy's,
Looking at re-capping my 675 chassis, and noticed that electrolitics are not marked as far as voltages on the schematics.
Does anyone know what the corrct voltages are, or can I just use 450 volt for all?

Those on my Philcos were mostly 475V but I use 450V across the board so far.

If you are looking at the rectifier filtering cap and B+ caps.
I think that 450V caps will be fine, as the new caps handle voltage better.

BUT... you might want to actually measure the V present there to be sure. Since house voltage is now in the 120-125V range the actual V present may be much higher than what is was using 110 or 115V that the set was designed for.

The solution IF this is true is to either use 500V or 600V caps OR use a system to reduce the voltage going into your set to 110-115V.
Got it.
Thanks for the help.

How about the odd value dogbone resistors?
I have found that some of them are not available in the value specified on the schematics.
Is it ok to go to the next lower or higher value, or do I have to stack them to get the closest value?
Still learning a radio at a time.

Should be ok. I think the resistors in the set are 20 percent so that give you a pretty good range to choose from.
